Ceramic braces are a popular alternative to traditional metal braces for adults and self-conscious teenagers. These braces are coloured like your natural teeth and less visible in your mouth, allowing for more discreet orthodontic care.

What are ceramic braces?

Ceramic braces work in the same way as traditional metal braces. Ceramic brackets supported by elastic and wires are fitted to your teeth and apply minor pressure over a period of time to correct their position or alignment.

The major difference is that these brackets are the same colour as your teeth, making them less noticeable when fitted.

Who is suitable for ceramic braces?

Ceramic braces can be the ideal option for adults and teenagers who need orthodontic care but don’t want this to affect their appearance.
